Online Banking Customers Market Profiling
Profiled online banking customers for a major mid-west bank to identify
characteristics of users of online banking services. The major dataset
had 200,000 records of online transactions with supporting datasets on
customer demographics. The results were used to design a new online banking
service and plan future research.
Medical Data Mining for New Product Positioning
Analyzed a large dataset (5.2 million records) of physicians and their
prescription writing history for a pharmaceutical research company. The
results were used to position a new drug with the physicians.
Health Insurance Classification and Regression Tree Development
Built a classification tree for segmenting participants in a health
insurance program for a large national health insurance provider. The
results were used to segment the market for new insurance programs.
Econometric Modeling
Database Demand Elasticity Estimation
Built a demand model for database access and estimated the demand elasticities
for a large database company. The results were used to develop a new
strategic pricing schedule for database access and information retrieval.

Jewelry Sales and Revenue Forecasts
Built a forecasting model and sytem of jewelry sales and revenue by
SKU's used for managing new product introductions and merchanize purchasing.
The data was collected through an online survey and supplemented with
client-provided data on historical sales.

Jewelry Market Survey Analysis
Designed a web-based survey of the jewelry gemstone market for an internationally
recognized jewelry manufacturer. The analysis of the survey results was
used to in the position and price of precision cut gemstone jewelry pieces
in the US market.
New Jewelry Product Conjoint Study
Designed a web-based conjoint study for a new jewelry concept. The resulting
analysis was used in planning market penetration.

K - 12: Student Assessment Trend Analysis
Analyzed trends in student assessment test data (TerraNova) and prepared
an extensive report for two charter schools in New Jersey. The results
were used in the schools' annual reports to the Boards of Education
and in correspondence with stakeholders.
College & Universities: Tuition Revenue Simulation Model
Built a large tuition revenue simulation model for the evening division
of a major northeastern university. The results of the study enabled
academic officials to assess various tuition level changes on enrollment
and revenue as well as the effects of tuition and academic program
changes of major competitor schools. A simulator was built in Excel
for the “what-if” scenario analyses. The data was collected through
an online survey and supplemented by school-provided data on enrollment
and competitor schools.
